Culinary Arts Training – Register

Registration for Culinary Arts Training is through the Guidance Department and follows the Day Class Term schedule.

Please come in-person to begin registration or to meet with Guidance for assistance with course selection, and/or academic planning:

1. All students (new and returning) must come in–person once per school year (between August 25, 2025 and June 2026) to show the ID requirements below.
2. While you are here to show your ID in person you will also be required to complete the Guidance Intake Form (once per school year)
3. Once you have cleared the in-person ID check for the school year and you have completed the Guidance Intake Form, you may connect with your guidance counsellor below to register for subsequent Terms or to enroll in additional correspondence courses. Guidance counsellors are assigned to the first letter of your legal last name:

Students with last name A-C and U-Z – maria.leonardo@wcdsb.ca

Students with last name D-L patti.walsh@wcdsb.ca

Students with last name M-T maria.lucko@wcdsb.ca

All students must show the following ID in-person at St. Louis Kitchener Main Campus, 80 Young Street in Kitchener, once per school year:

*Please note that we will need to see the original copies of the documents listed below in-person. No photos, photocopies or digital versions will be accepted. Bring in one item from each  of the four sections below.

1. Proof of Status in Canada (one of the following): 
   -Permanent Resident Card
   -Refugee Papers and Photo ID
   -Status Card and Photo ID
   -Canadian Birth Certificate and Photo ID
   -Canadian Citizenship Card or Certificate and Photo ID
   -Canadian Passport
2. Photo ID (to accompany any documents listed above without a photo, we cannot accept a Health Card) 
3. High School Transcript, Graduation Credit Summary, and/or Canadian Benchmarks
4. Proof of Current Mailing Address (one of the following, we cannot accept a Driver’s License or cellphone bill):
   -Utility Bill (Water, Gas, or Electricity)
   -Property Tax Bill
   -Home Phone/Internet/ Cable Bill
   -Purchase/ Rental/ Lease Agreement
   -Bank Document
   -Report Card
