What You Will Learn
All language credit courses follow Ministry of Education guidelines and are accepted as an elective credit towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). St. Louis offers up to 3 credits in each language and classes are 110 hours over the course of a school year.
Our language programs help learners build confidence in communicating, reading, writing and understanding global and multilingual cultures. These courses prepare learners to use the language confidently in personal, social, and academic settings while developing authentic lifelong language‑learning skills, critical and creative thinking and an appreciation of cultural diversity and global citizenship.
Languages Offered
International Languages (IL) Secondary Credit for 2026-2027 are offered in-person at three different locations and times during the week. They are also offered at different levels based on course pre-requisites.
