
Grade 10-12 Summer Credit – Registration
Registration for Online Summer Credit Courses
NOW OPEN!
WCDSB high school students:
- WCDSB students who are currently in Grades 9-12 students can register for all summer credit programs using the link provided by your high school guidance counsellor.
- WCDSB students who are currently in Grade 8 and looking to earn their first Grade 9 credit, visit: Grade 9 Summer Credit web page.
WRDSB and All Other Students:
- Current WRDSB students must ask their school to send St. Louis a principal to principal transfer form indicating that they want to take a summer school course with St. Louis
- Students not currently enrolled in a secondary school can sign up for summer school courses if they reside in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area
- Both of the above students must register in-person at 80 Young Street by June 22nd (many courses will fill and close before then, we encourage students to register early)
- Students must bring in the following original documents (no photocopies or digital images) when they come to register:

- Proof of Status in Canada (any of the following):
- Permanent Resident Card
- Refugee Papers and Photo ID
- Status Card and Photo ID
- Canadian Birth Certificate and Photo ID
- Canadian Citizenship Card or Certificate and Photo ID
- Canadian Passport
- Photo ID (to accompany any documents listed above without a photo, we cannot accept a Health Card)
- High School Transcript, Graduation Credit Summary, or Canadian Language Benchmarks
- Proof of Current Mailing Address — We cannot accept a Driver’s License or Cellphone Bill, but can accept any of the following:
- Utility Bill (Water, Gas, or Electricity)
- Property Tax Bill
- Home Phone/Internet/ Cable Bill
- Purchase/ Rental/ Lease Agreement
- Bank Document
- Report Card
- Proof of Status in Canada (any of the following):
Important for Summer Online Students
- ALL course content, assignments and exam will be online (ONLINE classes are self-directed with no formalized class time or synchronous lessons, however daily login is required to keep up with the pace of learning).
- Students can expect that their online course will require a minimum of 6 hours of schooling each day.
- Log-in is expected on the first day of class.
- Students should log in each day to see news from the teacher, to stay on top of readings and to complete assignments on their due dates. Students must be online for final exams on scheduled dates and times.
- Vacation or work should be scheduled outside of summer school. Assessment deadlines and exams will not be rescheduled.
- Summer Online courses are paid for by the Ministry of Education and there is no cost to students. Students are responsible for any and all printing costs.
NOTE: *All courses are subject to enrollment. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolment. Registration may close early if classes are full. Don’t be disappointed. Register EARLY! (*Program changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or programming needs.)
