About the Program
The Credits@Work program provides an opportunity for participants to earn Co-op credits toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) while working at their regular job.
If you’re already employed and want to finish your OSSD, Credits@Work lets you turn your work hours into high school credits.
By doing Credits@Work, you will:
- Earn Your First Credit Quickly: Your first Co-op credit is granted after 90 hours of work plus a 20-hour online component (110 hours total).
- Have Flexible Proof of Work: Simply provide your paystubs to verify your hours.
- Relevant Learning: The 20-hour online course component is designed to directly relate to the skills you use on the job.
- Have Ongoing Credit Potential: You can earn additional credits for every 110 hours of work completed thereafter.
- Meet Graduation Requirements: Up to two credits can be applied toward your compulsory high school requirements.
- Unlimited Electives: There is no limit to the number of optional or elective Co-op credits you can earn through the program.
