Culinary Arts Training – Success Stories

If you choose to take 4 credit courses, plus a 2-month work placement, you can earn a St. Louis  Culinary Certificate. Culinary students learn the techniques and knowledge to start a successful career in many types of settings in the food service industry. In order to receive your St. Louis Culinary Arts Certificate, you must complete both the in-class and work placement portions.

Make sure your Secondary School Credits earned during your program count?  Visit a St. Louis Guidance Counsellor to have your credits added to your high school transcript.  If these last few credits means you have now completed all your OSSD Requirements (including your 40 hours of community activities)?

2024-2025 Graduates

Students who completed all their course work in 2024-2025 should have already submitted an Intent to Graduate Form by Aug 31.

Contact Mary.Germann@wcdsb.ca to confirm.

Graduation Ceremony is Friday, November 7, 2025. Let us know you plan to attend, so we can give you your certificate and/or OSSD.

Since the OSSD is an important Ministry of Education document that many employers require proof of, we cannot mail your diploma to you.  If you cannot attend the ceremony, please bring photo ID when you pick it up.

Ready to Graduate?

If you are a current student completing your last few credits, please be sure to complete an Intent to Graduate Form.   Contact your assigned Guidance Counsellor for details.
