Eligibility and Fees

To enrol in Correspondence courses, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must reside in Waterloo Region, provide required ID, meet all course prerequisites, and demonstrate English language proficiency (CLB 6 in all four skills for English Language Learners)
  • Students who are 17 years old and have earned the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and who are not currently attending another school may enroll through a Principal to Principal transfer from your secondary school.
  • No tuition fee for Ontario residents 18 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in secondary school.
  • Additional fees apply for International Students

Block 1 Registration

  • September 8, 2026 – November 6, 2026

Block 2 Registration

  • November 16, 2026 – April 9, 2027

Ready to Register for Correspondence?

  • All students (new and returning) must come in–person to St. Louis Kitchener Main Campus once per school year.
  • At the time of showing ID in-person, students will be required to complete the Guidance Intake Form (once per school year).
  • Students may then connect with an assigned guidance counsellor to register for correspondence courses.
