Eligibility and Fees
To enrol in Correspondence courses, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must reside in Waterloo Region, provide required ID, meet all course prerequisites, and demonstrate English language proficiency (CLB 6 in all four skills for English Language Learners).
- Current WCDSB students aged 16–18 require Principal approval via your Guidance Counsellor.
- No tuition fee for Ontario residents 18 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in secondary school.
- Additional fees apply for International Students and students who are enrolled full-time at a secondary school.
Correspondence Registration Periods
Ready to Register for Correspondence?
- All students (new and returning) must come in–person to St. Louis Kitchener Main Campus once per school year.
- At the time of showing ID in-person, students will be required to complete the Guidance Intake Form (once per school year).
- Students may then connect with an assigned guidance counsellor to register for correspondence courses.
