Eligibility and Fees

To enrol in Correspondence courses, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must reside in Waterloo Region, provide required ID, meet all course prerequisites, and demonstrate English language proficiency (CLB 6 in all four skills for English Language Learners).
• Current WCDSB students aged 16–18 require Principal approval via your Guidance Counsellor.
• No tuition fee for Ontario residents 18 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in secondary school.
• Additional fees apply for International Students and students who are enrolled full-time at a secondary school.

Correspondence Registration Periods

Block 1 Registration

• September 8, 2026 – November 6, 2026

Block 2 Registration

• November 16, 2026 – April 9, 2027

Ready to Register for Correspondence?

• All students (new and returning) must come in–person to St. Louis Kitchener Main Campus once per school year.
• At the time of showing ID in-person, students will be required to complete the Guidance Intake Form (once per school year).
• Students may then connect with an assigned guidance counsellor to register for correspondence courses.
