Who Can Enroll?
- Summer Expedition is open to children who are currently enrolled in Grades 6, 7 & 8, at a publicly funded school and are going into Grades 7, 8 and 9 in the Fall of 2026.
- Is your child: in Grade 6 entering Grade 7 in Sept 2025 (born 2014)
- Is your child: in Grade 7 entering Grade 8 in Sept 2025 (born 2013)
- Is your child: in Grade 8 entering Grade 9 in Sept 2025(born 2012)
- A completed Summer Expedition 2026 registration form is required.
- If your child has a Plan of Care for a critical medical condition, please provide the information as soon as possible after you submit your registration.
- If your child is NEW to the WCDSB or St. Louis programs, you will be required to provide your child Canadian identification documents: such as Landing papers, Canadian Passport, Canadian birth certificate, PR card or Refugee document etc. for verification.
- Students who currently attend any publicly funded Elementary school, please provide your child’s OEN (Ontario Enrolment Number, a 9-digit number found on your child’s recent report cards). Principal recommendation for this program is required.
Summer Expedition students must be currently attending a publicly funded school in the 2025-2026 school year and this program must be recommended by your child’s day school teacher or principal. If you are not sure, please email them.
Unfortunately, students who attend private school or are homeschooled may not participate in Summer Expedition.

Transportation
SSTWR Bus Transportation is available for Summer Expedition students and must be indicated when you register your child.
- Students may arrive / leave independently or be dropped off 10 minutes before and after this program.
- Bus Transportation by Student Transportation Services Waterloo Region is available at centralized pick-up / drop-off spots at designated Catholic Elementary schools and all requests for transportation must be made at the time of registration.
- If you are planning to use this bus transportation opportunity, please choose the course carefully to be at the program location offered in the same city in which you live.
- Please indicate on the registration form if you require transportation. (Summer transportation procedures and routes will be posted in June here)
Summer Fun with Languages Registration

There are several summer program offering for Intermediate students, especially Grade 8 students. These summer programs or high school credit course offerings overlap and we ask that you register for only ONE summer program in July to avoid duplication.
Registration closes: June 15, 2026 (or while space is available)
If your child has a Plan of Care for a critical medical condition, you will be asked to provide that as a condition of acceptance.
If your child is on an IEP and you believe sharing this information will support your child’s learning during this program, you will have an opportunity to share this information confidentially, as part of this program registration process.
